  • What are your business hours?

    We offer our services by appointment only to ensure that you receive the best experience with us. Our available appointment hours are from 10am-5pm, Monday-Saturday.

  • Where is your main office?

    We are based in both Malaysia and Singapore. In Malaysia we are located in Bangsar and can be reached within a 5-minute walk from Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC).

  • When are you launching your products?

    It is here. Especially for our shoe production, the process may take some time due to the intricate technical aspects involved in creating each pair of shoes. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we strive to deliver high-quality, handmade products that meet our customers' expectations.


Embroidery Workshop


  • When do you conduct the Embroidery Workshop?

    Our workshop is by appointment basis. You can book your embroidery workshop any day from Monday to Saturday between 10 AM to 5 PM.

  • What type of Workshop do you conduct?

    We conduct traditional Peranakan bead embroidery workshops and offer three types of workshops here at ManekNya: 

    • a 2-hour basic embroidery workshop, 
    • a 3-hour shoe embroidery workshop,
    • and a 3-hour clutch embroidery workshop.

    *Do note that for the shoe and clutch workshops, we will only be embroidering the face of the shoe or clutch.

  • What is the minimum pax to conduct the workshop?

    Minimum would be 1 pax, Maximum would be 4 pax @ our studio. 

  • Do I need to bring anything?

    No, just bring yourself! Everything else will be provided.

  • Is one class enough for me?

    Yes, it is possible to learn in one class. However, for the clutch and shoe workshops, you need to continue working on your project at home if it is not completed during the class.


    If you need extra classes after, do let us know!


Nyonya Beaded Shoe


  • How long will it take for my shoes to arrive?

    After confirming your order, it will take 1 to 6 weeks to create and make your shoes, depending on the availability. Most of our shoes are made-to-order, and are made in small quantity. 

  • Can I return or exchange my shoes?

    Unfortunately, no. Every shoe is made-to-order to your feet size, hence, do not accept returns or exchanges at this time.

  • How do I know what size to order?

    Our sizes are universal, but to ensure the perfect fit, please submit your feet measurements when making a purchase.

  • How do I care for my shoes?

    To maintain the best condition of your shoes, proper care and attention should be given depending on its type. We provide a dust bag at every purchase to protect your shoes. 

  • Where do we ship to?

    We deliver to the whole of Malaysia. For international customers, you may directly contact us for further details at hellonyonya@maneknya.com.

    This approach allows us to minimize waste and adhere to sustainable production practices. To further reduce our environmental impact, we are committed to reusing shoe boxes whenever possible. This means your order may arrive in a repurposed box, contributing to our sustainability efforts.
